class=\"uc_sub_title\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><p>The PDO \u201cQueso Manchego\u201d was organized, on a provisional basis, in 1982.\u00a0In 1984, its first regulations were published.\u00a0After a long legal battle, caused by the actions brought by certain groups originating in communities outside Castilla-La Mancha, the Spanish Supreme Court ruled that only cheese made according to the rules written in the aforementioned regulation can be called \u201cQueso Manchego\u201d.\u00a0The registration of the European Union was in June
