Control Body

The control body of the PDO “Queso Manchego” is the Board of the Regulatory Council. It is composed of 16 members, 8 of whom represent the cheese sector and 8 the farms sector. They are democratically elected by those registered in each of the sectors and their term of office lasts four years. Among them, they elect a president and a vice-president, who cannot belong to the same sector. The President of the Board of the Regulatory Council has a casting vote in cases where there is a tie in the voting.
